PicYou, With Emoji :)
PicYou now supports Emoji both on the PicYou iPhone App and on PicYou.com.
You may know the Emoji characters by their expressive, abundant and kooky emoticons. They’re those special set of images that you can insert into descriptions, comments and more. There are several hundreds of Emoji emoticons that you can use to express yourself.

If you have an iOS 5, iPhone, iPad or iPod device, you can enable the Emoji keyboard to start using all of the cool characters. Let’s get started…
On your device,
1. Tap Settings > General > Keyboard
2. Tap International Keyboards
3. Tap Add New Keyboard
4. Scroll down to find Emoji
Once you have enabled Emoji, you can access it by tapping the globe icon right next to the spacebar on your keyboard.
You can switch through the Emoji themes along the bottom of the keyboard. Swipe through the themes to see additional characters.

The #hashtag Defined... an Introduction
You may be wondering why some PicYou users include a # symbol at the beginning of certain words in their descriptions (#photo #nature #summer …) Is there a purpose? Sure there is!
The # symbol, called the hashtag, is used to categorize topics so that PicYou users may find similar photos easier. You can categorize any topic such as photography, food, travel, skateboarding etc. Whatever your interest, you can tag it!
Helping you find relevant photos on PicYou
To see some popular tags on PicYou, go to the Popular feed and tap the Tags menu. Here you will see tags PicYou users have used to categorize their photos. Go ahead, tap on a tag of your interest and see all the relevant photos.
You can also tap on hashtags while browsing photos. If a photo has a hashtag(s), you will see it in the description just below the photo.
Are you ready to add your own hashtag? As easy as 1, 2, #
First, snap a photo with your iPhone and choose a filter… tap Next. Add a description of your snapshot along with relevant keywords (don’t forget to add the # symbol before the keyword). That’s all to it!
Now your photos will be easier to find by people who share a common interest.
